    If every company had a policy like that there wouldn't be many drivers.Most prefer to go solo.Most the starter companies are not forced team operation,OP just prefers to team.He just needs confidence and who knows he may achieve that once he's done with the training phase.

    Best thing to do if you're teamed with a smoker, is again communication, ask the driver if he could crack the window down some when he's smoking, the smoke in turn is pulled towards his opened window and away from you.
