Just wondering if a new driver can get assigned to a regional route fresh out of training. Or do you have to run OTR for a certain length if time before you can go regional? Thanks in advance.

I think USA was trying to run drivers more on a regional basis. I think it fell through. They send you where they need you. Ask your DA dispatcher. They should know. Heartland tried to set them up. He got stonewalled by Van Buren. Get ready for a smokescreen.

In my opinion, from what I remember the whole regional thing was started by Cliff, Hartline was brought in to take the blame when the writing was on the wall that it wasn't working. I hear drivers all the time blaming Hartline, the same drivers that weren't there long enough to remember that regional started way before Hartline hot there. Driver's are getting better loads here and there, but USA is also still chasing the short miles.
