I can remember when the aero trucks were rounded off, like the T2000 (which looked like a VW beetle got rearended by a cabover). Now all the aero is squared off.
Kinda a neat design on the cab fairings...Shaffer needs those since the put the nose of the trailer tight to the sleeper wall, which makes hooking up and fueling a tight squeeze for chubs like me. Plus it looks like the front radar OnGuard/Wingman is offset to the right...please send one in Shaffer blue or Crete red to my terminal with my name on itLast edited: Feb 14, 2021

This is like GMC Sierra vs Chevrolet Silverado.
Pretty much a carbon copy of the new Peterbilt but with KW emblems. -
I posted pictures of this months ago. It was at out terminal in DFW. Helps that the owner of our company sits on the board of KW.

I like the new T680 personally. Unfortunately my company is no longer purchasing KW's and moved entirely to Pete due to the way they were treated during our companies anniversary. I prefer KW over Pete.

I saw a 2nd video about these new KW's...they also have heaters in the headlights to eliminate ice buildup and condensation. And there are exhaust vents in the back of the fenders, right over the steps that redirect the air out from under the hood. I can see a problem with vents there...in the winter, heat keeps the precipitation liquid until it gets into the cooler air outside, the starts to collect on the steps so you have a ski jump when you step out for a break.

New T680 is a better looking T660. Looks pretty good. This is unlike what they did with the W990. They really screwed up with that one. They could have adopted the existing W900 look with the new updated cab. This is why IMO, the W900 is more desirable than the 990.
