$46,500 A bit more than I originally wanted to spend, but the fuel economy will offset the increased payment.

    Coffey and OldeSkool Thank this.

Sounds like an in frame is in your future. Hopefully the block is salvageable. You do know about the fuel pumps on the CM-2350? What is the OEM HP on that motor? Hopefully not 485. ;-)

Was originally 550. Has done about 150k miles since the work on it. It isn't pushed hard, and since the work has had zero issues.
It's nice to know the seller and the shop who did the work.

    Coffey and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Who did the tune, or "Who's Tune" is it? Is the turbo still on? The factory OEM one? Any plates on the motor, EGR cooler still intact? SCR unit fixed, removed and welded? Fuel pump fixed? They need to be rebuilt every 300,000 to 400,000 miles. When they go, they will take out the entire motor. The HP is above and beyond what the motor you have is capable of over the long haul. The high compression ratios and tolerances on these motors don't play well with high HP. Just saying.

    Elroythekid and HopeOverMope Thank this.

Diesel Freak did the work, replaced the turbo, intake and exhaust manifolds, upgraded fuel pump and rails and a page of other work. Total bill was just under $10k. The engine has been turned down once already, and I will probably have it turned down again to the 600hp range.

    Coffey Thanks this.
