I agree with everyone else here, the company doesn't deserve you...there's plenty of carriers that strive to take care of their drivers...Melton is one. I can vouch for them.

Yeah it’s J.B, they have it to where the truck runs 10 minutes and shuts off, they’ve said it runs under 32 degrees but that’s bS sat there when it was 28 and still didn’t continue to run. I want to stay regional but it’s hard to find somewhere who will hire someone for regionalwith my job history, I’ve had a rough go with companies

Just can’t believe a company would pull this crap and still retain their drivers

Find the temp sensor and place a bag of ice on it.

At 28 a heavy blanket will have you sweating almost .. Id be more worried about when it’s too hot and it won’t idle .. JB won’t change corporate policy until enough quit over it and state that’s why they are quitting

I'm guessing no one told him about the turn cruise on and hit resume switch. To keep truck idling.

    Assuming he's in a FL.

I'm surprised they aren't equipped with heaters though.

I have not run into a company since Schneider in the 90’s who didn’t provide some sort of way to stay warm. If that’s the game they play you cannot get a good nights sleep. Maybe ask your manager if they go home and shut the heat off when they go to bed? You know to save money.
