Sirscrapntruckalot, Albertaflatbed, Lav-25 and 4 others Thank this. -
Just take a trip out to Sandstone Mountain on I-64 in WV. Go up and down the mountain a couple of times, preferably while it’s snowing. Then imagine driving it in a fully loaded tractor-trailer.

Lol, true.
Bought a T600 parts truck from the towing company that works the WVTP wrecks.
Owner told me he has made a lot of $$ from companies whose drivers had got panic stricken, then called the company saying the truck had issues. After doing test on the truck and finding no issues owner of the truck would have them drive the truck west of Charleston, then the driver would take it from there.
Most only experience I-77,I-79, WVTP, I-64 (sandstone mountain), or other side roads like 19 or 119 or 52 down towards Williamson. Those are not roads to fear, just simply respect them.
It’s the little roads that get many in trouble here, especially those with no CB….. -
Pulled a few superloads through WV. One of the loads had to be 2trucked. They put the load on a pair of 24ft flats to make the turns.

I drove both CO and WV , at least CO has some flat spaces , WV is ALL up hill - Down hill !!!
