Never ever ever ever trust ANY GPS unit. Use a RM Motor Carrier Atlas and Satellite View on Google maps. WRITE DOWN your route with pen and paper. It works every time it's tried. There IS NOT a magic GPS unit on the market by any manufacturer. You MUST know where you are going before you put the key in the ignition.

Oh boy........where did you go to school? Rand Mcnally Motor Carriers Atlas. You can buy one at any truck stop. I recommend the one with plastic laminated pages. There is tons of information you need in that Atlas. Please ask someone to show you how to find and use that information.

Any truck gps will still lead you down the wrong path sometimes. Like @Dockbumper says, truck atlas is the way to go.
