Not going to USA

how long does it normally take to get with a trainer after training is done

 

Hubby got his the the day after training finished but there was at least one guy that was still there the following week waiting for a trainer.

 

you guys are freakin me out now... i just got a class date for the last week of december to go to c1. My understanding was it was an offer from usa. But now i'm hearing that could change halfway threw the training?

Whats the difference with usa and pam, i haven't been able to find alot.

 

Not really a whole lot of dif between the 2, I work for pam, and those other divisions of pam (PDS, CHOCTAW, DECKER, AFS) they are all being changed over to PAM logos. So pretty soon you won't see trucks with those logos any more

 

Start making phone calls now! I would be calling Crete, Werner, etc. If you have a stable work history I wouldn't settle for PAM.

Don't count on them to find you a job. Do some research on PAM on this site.

Crete hires students. $500 a week to train, $.31 a mile afterwards. My last job stopped me from getting on a Crete. Guys that graduated before me are making 40K and running nice equipment. Hellz bellz PAM can't even wash their trucks.

Don't count on DS to find you work. Werner will do tuition reimbursement. I don't know how that works as my schooling was paid. I am going Werner 01/04.

hey IUFAN hows it goin now with USA? how long was your training at the company? were you on otr wiht a trainer or just company? did u already have your cdl?
they are hiring in my area and called me- still reseaching the company to find out good and bads.
