I have to agree with this - bedomrider, can you prove this on a scanned pay stub with your info blacked out?

I couldn't see how that is anywhere close to the truth.

I've posted mine here before, and I'll never lie about it - last thing I'd want is a guy getting into this industry on false info.

Just my 2 cents. Look. As everyone has said. 8 hr a day. Is very unlikely. In trucking the start sucks when you're a new driver. Low pay. Not a lot of freight. They prob. Aren't going to give you a hot load until they know you and how you're going to run. When you get some exp. Find a good company. Maby a year or two. Then start making some decent $. I've worked making $1,500 a week running my but off, not sleeping and I was miserable. Not to mentioned. Always looking overy shoulder for the next dot cop. Then I've made a steady good pay check and I'm happy. Its not about how much money you make. And its not about just the amount per mile or percentage. Its about making a steady pay check. Being happy where you are emplpyed . And how much you gotta do to make the $ you wanna make. I set my goal at $xxxx.xx per week and that's what I make. The time it takes to do that is different every week.
