Are you the same guy (OP) who refused to state your country of citizen ship to the Border patrol on I-10 traffic checkpoint last year ? (because it invaded your privacy)

Unpopular , but I’ll say it anyway.

Temp checks are pretty stupid. I turned up to load an engine in summer, in a black truck, full sun - ball cap on.

    “Ooooh - you’re hot” Yeah - no s__t.

Face masks are stupid too. The first thing people do after putting one on is adjust it, touch it, face, fingers, eyes, fingers . . .

I’m afraid we’ll all just have to ‘get it’ and live or die. Either that or we all live the rest of our lives isolated in separate bunkers.

I saw a woman in an actual gas mask in a store in Michigan. Out of respect for her decision to protect herself - I resisted the urge not to laugh.

I suggest you stop going to deliver to the DC. I won’t patronize stores that attempt to enforce this foolishness.

They’re teaching us to march 6 feet apart, next it’ll be on to train cars.

Exactly!! I drive a black truck too, & in July in Savannah GA they didn't want to let me in to deliver an open deck load, mind you, in the open air yard because the temp gun showed me at 99.6°f, not 98.6°f..

Nucor of Huger, SC temp gun showed me at 78°f temp.. No problem letting the walking dead in to load though.. lmao

I have had COVID back in February it was no big deal. Just came out from states that if someone dies from a car accident but had COVID they count it as Covid. My mom is a nurse practitioner hospitals get money for Covid treatment. Incentive to report more Covid cases equals more $$.
Not saying don’t take it serious but this crap is so overblown it’s stupid. Scare tactics and fear mongering. Sheeple are buying into the brain washing.

I wear my mask in any private business that requests I do so, not because I agree with them but because it's private property and I'm there by choice. If I didn't want to wear a mask I could easily leave and find another place to shop or in this case work. It's their property and their rules, same as a saftey vest.
My hope is that enough people quit shopping at the woke leftie businesses to persuade them to rethink their agenda after seeing the books go into the red.
Out of solidarity for others who've been forced by government to wear specific garments I chose a very specific facemask...

Hospitals lost an important revenue stream early on in this deal - elective surgery.

The CARES package reimbursement to hospitals for any COVID related case allowed them to maintain profit. I personally fact checked that one.

So, obviously, the case and fatality numbers are inflated.

It’s real, for sure. But here’s my stance -

I don’t have contact with family members or neighbors that are compromised, that’s on them if they wish to come near me. So I’ll carry on as usual.

If YOU feel it’s in YOUR best interests to protect yourself or YOUR contacts, then hunker down at home or whatever makes you feel better. Don’t shove it down my throat.

I have the luxury of being able to choose where and when I work. I’ll respect businesses flawed policies if it suits me.

It’s highlighted to me how easily the general population is manipulated by fear and lack of common sense.

So you're saying: Personal responsibility and accountability for ones own actions?
Sounds like a heartless person, I mean how can we be expected to accept responsibility for our health and that of our loved ones?
McDonald's gave me diabetes, the bank caused my student loan debt, Walmart only pays me 12 bucks an hour!

We're so far beyond personal accountability, that's the government's job... that's why we wear masks at shippers.

Guys, the media controls the narrative. The narrative right now is focused on the election. I’m on a hundred Fakebook groups just so I can see what the sheeple are doing. The cases are rising again, nurses losing it again. Why are nurses losing it again? Well because the hospitals are starting to overflow again.

Some of you guys just gotta turn the key off and go home. One thing you cannot get back in this industry is TIME. All the money combined in this world cannot buy back yesterday, it cannot buy back what has already happened. Is it really worth it going OTR knowing you have a compromised loved one? I wasn’t there when my dog died, wasn’t there to say goodbye to grandma also. No one is shaming you if you want to do what your heart is telling you to do. Go to your loved ones.

Like I said, you cannot buy back time. Once the day is over, it’s over.

You're absolutely correct about time being priceless.
That's why some of us work harder or do different jobs than others. We're gambling that the work we do today buys us good times tomorrow.

Some of us are concerned about the plandemic and others couldn't care less.
But you might be onto something with convincing people to park it, think about what it would do to the rates!
