Thanks dude. Appreciate that!! I will be the first to admit that without the direct shippers I would probably have hung up the keys, or at least be bringing in much lower revenue. Always happy to admit I’m thankful for my contracts and my niche of doing that driver work tailgate/unload work that I think gives an advantage. I have much respect for you fellas that are able to navigate the brokerage side and be successful.

It is always good to see people succeed no matter what they are doing. Love seeing people grow and enjoy seeing it first hand. When I ran a shop that was one of the best part of the being a Manager. Working with people and getting them to better themselves and provide better for their families. This should be a standard all of us live by. Unfortunately, to many people like to see people fail because they have no morals and are jealous of someone else's success.

Still absolutely killing it in my book! $78k salary and 18 WEEKS vacation? I can't even imagine 3 weeks vacation, haven't taken any vacation at all in my last 5 years of job hopping around in W2-land over here. Rock on!!

Thanks sir! Hopefully you get a day or two off soon. Admittedly the “vacation” is way more than I’d want. Most of those days off are holiday closures or “no work available”. I’d rather be working those days with my direct freight but last year was brutal in the summer. Two months of 0 revenue alone. This year is going better with more work available so far. We will see how it plays out.
