Anyone been with this company? They offered me $285 a day guaranteed and will train me since I have no tanker experience. APU’s in all trucks, outward facing camera etc.

I see them on the road all the time but can’t find much info from drivers.

Found a good thread on this company in the search. Won’t let me delete this post but oh well.

I looked at them and they seem to be above average in quality. The only thing I don't like is their most western terminal is in Iowa. I've heard good things about them.

Nice Volvos with APUs. $285 per day isn't bad, just make sure you get that everyday you are in the truck. I have heard salaried drivers only get paid 6 days a week.

You have to be clean shaven too. They don't hire people with beards.

Their main offices/yard location is in Lake Wales, FL.

All the tanker work is food grade.

The training period for tanker there is VER-RY SHORT--only a week and a half.

If you don't make the cut in a week and a half, you are bumped to their dry van/reefer group.

Trust me on this one--you DON'T WANT to be in their dry van/reefer group.:(

Based on my experiences there--if you have no previous tank experience, I would recommend you go elsewhere to learn tanker.

Then maybe go back to them later, if food grade is what you want.

Yes, the white Volvos are nice.

I don't miss my job there.

But I do miss that Volvo tractor they assigned to me.

Now, I do hazmat tanker duty hauling fuel, mostly in north Florida. Home daily. ;):)

That’s my plan, I want to learn tanker from one of these companies that train. Do it for a year then get a local gig hauling fuel to gas stations. Is learning tanker complex? Like something you can learn in a week and a half or should I look for a company with more training. Iv’e got 11 months experience with dry van currently.
