So any new news since your start. I'm waiting on a van and now I'm nervous about it seems like it's still a flat company.

No. I'm the same guy from the other thread. I'm waiting he said it may take three weeks. It was good I had some repairs to make. I'm also now second guessing myself

    Why are you second guessing?

Just not any good info on the van side from anyone who's been at it for any amount of time. All the flat guys say go flat. Only van guy I spoke with has only been there a few weeks and is talking flats already

I'm on flat side also, but not because someone told me there is more money in it. I like pulling a flat, have only been with Mercer for a couple of weeks but I came over with my own trailer.

My orientation class had about a 50/50 split between flat and dry van drivers leasing on. Mercer is growing their van side, if that's what ya wanna pull go for it. Talk to your recruiter about the lanes and rates, I don't think they are gonna lead you astray, mine didn't.

LOL, I have my days that I think about going to the van side. Well seconds at least. Those I know in it love it. You have to learn the lanes just like the flat side. But once you do you can do great. Don't be scared, jump in the pool.

    sanchez51476 and Puppage Thank this.
