Injun, you might not be kicking and screaming much longer now. From what my DM told me, company wide by Jan of 12. I am holding out as long as possible, but do not think much longer. Was already told that I have to get to class ASAP.

    Look out Injun! January 11th???

I'd rather be on paper too, but its just getting used to truckin' life done a little differently. I did have to throw in the towel on a couple of loads (one was planned from the outset...) and ask for a repower though. Never happened on paper!

That's what I have heard too, by the end of 2011 all Swift truck will be operating on elogs. Swift has discovered that if a truck has the new qualcomm that it must be programmed for elogs now, no delay. The only way to holdout is to stay out of the terminals as much as possible and keep you old qc like you life depends on it til the end of the year.

The info is up on swiftowner.com ... By 12/31/11, also lists the terminals that are doing the installs.

    scottied67 Thanks this.

The new qualcom and elogs are ok...just takes a couple days to adjust and the nav works well.

I'm interested to see what happens to swift when they get audited again. Having so many violations on these elogs, most of which could be avoided, won't look good.

Far be it from me to imply that the head office is run by intelligence and logic. And by that I mean any head office anywhere.
