10-12k. DO NOT listen to MFG extended service intervals-Like many on this site are brainwashed to go 25,000 miles without lubrication.

    Weekly or Bi-weekly Grease job.

I was told by a very reliable mechanic, change your oil when it starts consuming it. When you need a gallon (and it isn't leaking or blowing smoke because it's burning it) it generally means the oil has absorbed all the contaminants it can hold (smaller than what a filter extracts) and it is beginning to not lubricate properly and it's being burned. I have had Cummins engines with the infamous filter clogging issue not get to 10k without needing a change, and I have had them go to the manufacturer's recommended mileage and not use a 1/2 gallon, and still look like decent oil.

You can also get a bypass oil filter. They filter down to like 1 micron. They filter the stuff the full filters miss. That how the new Detroit engine do 50,000 miles oil changes. I basically already has a bypass filter built i to the engine.

If you had real bypass oil filter you take oil sample and see what's in the oil then change it when the oil is dirty. You can go 100,000 miles without changing oil if you have a true bypass oil filter. Some will say it's crazy but the oil samples don't lie. We are not talking like Speed Co bench top machine. You send it to lab and they can tell you how the oil is.

Oil is cheap (if u do it yourself)

Rebuild? Not cheap - I can't do that

Conclusion? Dump oil every 10,000 miles. Heck even 5K if I feel like it.

I've been toying around drains on my recently acquired 2013 isx also .
It has been on 30k drains and uses a gallon between drains .
I'm thinking 20k drains but only because I idle very little .

Do a Oil sample thats the best way to see when you need to change the oil.. I pushed mine to 21k miles and it wasn't good lol. At 15k its good but i got a coolant leak into the oil its small and we can't find it without taking the head off... So by running 21k on my Oil my lead wear went up and the base of the oil went really low...
