3 speeding tickets in 3 years, not including this recent ticket? Your husband must not value his CDL much.

From what I heard if you get a ticket in some states that don't share info with your state as in they don't report it to your local dmv then you're good. But who knows call them and find out info

Be careful if you are going through the Memphis area drivers. There was a big story on the news about how the Memphis Police Dept. is writing thousands, yes literally thousands, of speeding tickets for going 5 miles over the speed limit, yes I said 5 that is not a misprint. They are doing it so they can stop cars and then look for drugs, people with warrants, etc. Alot of people complained about it, but the police said so what we are going to keep doing it. So be careful if you have to go through Memphis, the cops are out to get ya.

Well, I called a lawyer in the state of Oklahoma and found out that if you are a regular driver, then what the cop said was true but it does not hold true for CDL holders! So we will be hiring a lawyer to fight the ticket.

The tickets my husband got on his record were before he attained his CDL. I can relate to what spyder said, my husband's bike caused some of those tickets.

My thanks to everyone that commented. I appreciate the help!

Whether they share or not is a moot problem.

You have to certify with the company once a year any and all convictions received.

Points are points. His MVR doesn't reset just because he got his CDL. Tell him to slow down!

It would be hilarious if you got a ticket for going 5 under the speed limit

Indiana writes them for 1 mph over.

    Speed limit is the fact.

Many states like Illinois when they raised it have no tolerance for any speed over the sign.
