Well when you pull reefer split breaks and breaks at loading docks are the norm so I don't see what the big deal is here.

The guys a scumbag, always has been and always will be and encouraging his management to badger and call drivers during rest breaks is a scumbag tactic.

No no! Drivers deserve the respect of being able to chose when they drive! Appointments and fresh produce expiration dates don’t matter! Bunch of crybaby’s.

I actually agree with this. Flip flopping sleep schedules is the nature of the business. I actually run like this. If the load has later pick up time, I head to the shipper regardless. Sometimes I even get loaded early and start heading where I need to go. To many guys get in this industry wanting to live like it's a 9-5. That ain't what it is. You run what's available. Many drivers to me, they don't know how to work. If you only want to use one part of the 24 hr clock, it's gonna be hard to survive in this industry.

For reefer very true that's just the beast, but there are so many options that will make you the same money or even more that keep you on a schedule. Car hauling almost always pays more than reefer and that's #### near a 9-5. Reefer is the only type of freight iv pulled that had you constantly flipping schedules.
