The cameras in the trucks just kept me from taking the job at Cardinal. I can handle out facing cameras, but when they feel they have to have a camera on the driver that tells me they don't trust the drivers.

I cover it due to the fact I have a sleeper and I don't like that a third party company is in charge of operations of the camera.

So there's been a lot of changes in the past couple months at cardinal. First off we're hiring like usual so if your looking for a job around western Washington we have em. All of our bosses got promoted so my new supervisor is one of our ex drivers and I got a bump up to safety trainer. From what I've heard there's talk of bonuses and a pay hike coming in the near future. All in all things are still stupid busy and we're just getting busier. We'll see if the money shows up or not, if not it is what it is cause we're still making good money.

Heh. I remembered this thread and talked to a Cardinal driver who was fueling next aisle over. He said he liked the company.

Yeah there's some guys that like the company and there's definitely some guys that don't. I'll admit it is a lot of long hours but for the most part it's a pretty easy job. Management's not bad they leave you alone let you do your own thing, most of our core drivers have been here at least a year or more I know I've been here two and a half. The pays decent but the benefits need some work we'll see where that goes next month, so far I'm happy here and I don't see myself moving on. Another bonus is they like to promote from the inside.
