You wouldn't like running team in a cab-over int'l with 36in sleeper......AAhhh, memories from the old days !

I drive a 2017 Pete 389 60 inch flat top.
My previous truck was a 379 tall sleeper , it was a learning experience.
As mentioned a lot of stuff I didn't need . I do use a seat organizer because I no longer have the overhead storage in the cab.
I have a igloo cooler that fits in floor in front of right seat, it'll fit between the seats if I have a passenger. I'm usually out only 5 to 6 days.
I'm used to traveling on a motorcycle, so I can pack light .Tug Toy Thanks this. -
I ran a 379 with a 36" sleeper for a year. I was usually out 5 days a week in it. I just packed a clothes bag and threw it under the bed, kept all my tools in a tool bag that was just inside the sleeper door, had no cooler or fridge and only had 1 cup holder. It was okay for a while but after a year I had enough. Now I'm in a 60" and feel like I'm in a mansion.
Best thing I can tell you is just bring what you need, tools, clothes, a few snacks, and your bed sheets.GreenPete359, God prefers Diesels and Brettj3876 Thank this. -
I have a seat organizer in mine that I got from Loves. They’re really handy for storing stuff in since you need to keep the passenger seat anyway. If you get a passenger just flip it around and hang it off the back of the seat. I do it all the time.

That's how i feel switching between the 48 and the 60in mid roof, a big mansion. I wish the 48s only came with a 36in bunk and the other 12 inches for storage room then it wouldn't be so bad. They also could of easily put some storage on top too along the sides of the sleeper. And extra 10-12 inches for storage would make a world of differenceD.Tibbitt, God prefers Diesels and Dave1837 Thank this.

I would've stayed in my 36" if I only had to stay in it 2 or 3 nights a week, it was honestly comfortable. In the dead of winter the bunk heater would hear the entire cab and in the summer my windows would be frosted over inside. And I only had one vent back there lol the downside was, if I had to sleep at a delivery point I'd be getting dressed and undressed on my bed. Of course it was always after I delivered a load of carbon and was filthy. Plus, the cab was just a standard size cab, it wasn't a high roof, so those 2,500 mile weeks were pretty longD.Tibbitt and God prefers Diesels Thank this.

Back when I was single and wanted to truck I would stay out 2-3 months at a time in my FLD. The main thing I did was pull the HVAC out of the bunk since the dash will keep up with the heating and cooling of the small area. That extra space under the bunk was nice. Other than that, I kept a shower bag with a change of clothes behind the driver seat and had some things on the bed that I’d have to put in the seat when I went to bed.

I've never seen a truck like that before. (That wasn't a Pete or KW) Very nice!

I have one off these
Alpicool C15 Portable Refrigerator
Love it. Small foot print will keep a weeks food cold. Measure what area you do have and take a visit to dollar general for baskets it shelves. If you have to anchor it, use Command Strips. They come off clean from anything except fabric.
