Getting ready for day 3 at the west memphis terminal, truck lost the drive shaft about 10 miles out from the end of our day, and its not a fun ride when it goes when your clipping along at 63mph, the great service dept. has been very helpful, (not) as someone new coming into a company I was not impressed, No one was in charge of the shop and could not make a call about anything and the next day we got the normal ya it will ready tomorrow but as soon as we check on it, well they have it apart but the are trying to figure out why its broke.

There is not much to do either. The KFC has a buffet and the store across from it has some ok pizza. Most likely you will hook up with a trainer working dedicated out of the Toyota plant there in Georgetown. If you don't already have it, get this guys number from the training dept. Because if I am right you really need to start sleeping during the day so you can drive at night. The only way to know for sure is to call the trainer. Good luck!

Oh, one more thing. There is a laundry room at this hotel. Also the up button on the elevator don't work right either, just keep hitting it if you have an upstairs room. Across the main highway is a chic fil A and a great full service restaurant. If you like a cold beer this is the only place near the hotel to get one. Just make sure you are off duty before.

All the training dept would tell me is his name and his truck number. When I asked for his number I was told he has mine and would call me. So I will just sit here and watch the flat screen, stretch out on the bed, play on the laptop and wait patiently for him to call me. Only have a min of 90 more hours driving to go till I am eligible for upgrade. Then I wait to see whether or not I roll a good number or craps on the truck assignments.
