Wow, Thats nuts. Yeah I dont get it. Im guessing the c1 students get the red carpet treatment and you get pushed aside.

    bad deal

Question for ya wisky. Did you do any training. Or did you get your cdl on your own. That would be a problem if so. Cuz I know usa-truck requires you to complete training with a school first. Prob get some insurance break or something. But that might be the case..

Van Buren is a much bigger class than Vandalia, it's usually easier to get into or more likely to have a cancelation from someone and then their slot opens up. And yes C1 students usually get preference over others. Well really any school they use gets preference over someone going to school on their own. If you paid for school on your own then there's no 1yr contract or obligation to the Co. Also if you screw up in orientation or training and you're C1, then they'll more than likely send you back to school, but if you went to school on your own then they'll send you home.

Freaking 7 HOUR AND 45 MINUTE LAYOVER IN JOPLIN MISSOURI! 10 hour trip by car 22 by bus:biggrin_2551:. Oh well I can deal with it. Anyway, anyone know how long I am gonna have to sit in Ft. Smith and or how I am gonna get to Van Buren?

They have so many drivers coming in to orientation, and so little trainers. Thats the reason I believe. I was there a couple of weeks ago and had to wait 2 1/2 weeks for a trainer, and when I got one.....HE QUIT!!!!!!:biggrin_25510:
