Overnight trailer pick up

I would be more concerned about the dry rot, now that the warm weather is here. The screw doesn't look like it penetrated the tire

 

Get it replaced.
While you're waiting, cus out the driver the left it for not doing a proper post trip.

 

Leave it in and take trailer to truck stop. Then pull it out and see if it leaks

 

Deck screw, 2 1/4".

 

When you post a pic online - now there is proof for lawyers if there is a liability. Need to get it fixed for sure now so no potential lawsuits.

 

Your responsibility now. But it looks like you don't have a leak so pull that thing out and find out.
