Congrats on graduating Swift Academy! I was reading your posts on the Swift board but it stopped about 2 weeks ago. I am considering the Richmond academy, how did you like the Richmond academy and the hotels you were at?

I recommend the Richmond Academy 100%. The staff is awesome, and the Candlewood Suites where you stay is great!

One thing to keep in mind going in... prepare to work your butt off; it's not a "gimme" course. Our original class of 12 had 6 at the end, and we had a 100% first time pass rate for the DMV test.

If you have a PA license, then Joe will be your primary range instructor. He's a real sweetheart!

I know I stopped the updates. I'll probably do that here in the next few days.

Just because you type "no disrespect" does not somehow make what you typed before it vanish from existence. Hehehee

Thanks for that - I think I follow the math OK. At 2500 miles per week 1.5 CPM would mean $3900 would be paid back in 2 years * am I right?
So, do you start on 24.5 CPM given that you pay back training from day 1 on the road.
These forums are great for finding out the facts!
And congrats on passing the school.

Correct. I don't want to be misinterpreted. Many cannot take the truth. The original post was from someone looking to get in the industry. Do we want her informed or mislead?

That's IF you get 2500 miles per week and IF you stay 2 years. Not many do.

    blairandgretchen Thanks this.

It just reminded me of, I think it was Dom Irerra'a joke about the "No disrespect" disclaimer.

"Hey! Your sister is uglier than my dog's butt. No disrespect tho"

Yup. I've heard of lease drivers getting starved out of miles towards the end of their lease too . . .
