Panic early and avoid the rush.

 

I used to write down the miles as I crossed the state border. This was to subtract from the last miles when I initially crossed into that state for IFTA reporting purposes. Also wrote down highways used and whether they were toll roads for IFTA refunds.

Easier when you track state miles. Was company policy at previous employer.

 

I’m just curious how shelves can go dry because a few million drivers don’t have a working ELD when it’s literally one ELD provider having issues with their older hardware?

 

Where is this state border stuff coming from, you record the mileage when you st midnight to close out the day.

I hope the op also did the seven days prior log off duty.
