Not all drivers. Only the 30-40 doing ghe tests and those getting brand new trucks. I think a few of the problem children who can't color right in their coloring book may be getting them too.

Why? It doesn't matter. We have tattle tale trucks which is worse.

The more drivers USA gets on elogs the more DOT fines the company is going to start getting because they still cant dispatch loads that legally fit within the HOS for some reason. They have gotten a little better though since CSA now that they are held accountable. I remember a time when they would dispatch loads to the closest driver without and regards for HOS or anything else. USA is digging their grave a good 12' deep.

E logs are not a big deal, your truck has a quaalcomm those records can be pulled when necessary by a court in the event of a injury accident or a fatality,so your logs should match the qc anyways.if they don't your just asking for problems that you can't get out of in the event of a fatality.if people spent as much time figuring out how to run legal as they do worrying about e logs this would be a non topic.as far as loads dispatched not complying with a drivers hos, that's on the driver no one forces a driver to do anything illegal that's a choice made by the driver, the driver scolds the keys not dispatch.I have not ever been asked to do anything illegal since I worked here

I've been dispatched on loads I couldn't do legally. I QCd the repky of "cant pick up/deliver at that time and here's why" I've never been told to do it anyways. Well a couple times but never my my fm. I told ghe person why told me to do it to call my fm at home at then safety. If either of them call me and say do it then I'd reconsider but until then ill do what I can legaly. That's the end if the conversation. Never been in trouble for it. And as far as I can tell never been shorted miles either.
I'm not worried about it. Ill do what I can legally. Its my cdl not theirs. I'm to cheap to pay an hos violation ticket so I don't plan in getting one.

Thats right, its as easy as that. Drivers act like they are forced to run illegal.they run illegal by choice with no regard to what happens if someone gets killed by that truck running illegal.you know as well as I do they will pull your phone records, qc records etc etc in a fatality accident.people can make paper look legal all they want, that electronic data wont lie in a manslaughter case
J_FROG Thanks this. -
