i was at the flying j at 139 on I 65 in lebanon indiana

it was getting late and i really just had to piss........i pulled in and all spots were taken......so i found a makeshift spot against the curb.........now im no oblivious idiot....i would never park anywhere that would block anybody in, even if it was for 5 minutes

i parked against a curb, and im 100% sure no truck would have any problem making the turn from both directions (in front and behind me)

anywaays i get out and start walking in to the truck stop...just had to piss.......some loudmouth driver rolls his window down and says "that aint a parking spot"

we had words, and i said where should i park then? im just gonna be a few minutes, i was in a daycab, obviously not takin my 10 hours off

this genius said i should have parked in the fuel bay...........so i said "so youd rather me park on the fuel bay where ill definitely be in somebodys way then to park here and be in nobodys way?"

there was more to it then that but i wont go into all of it.....im a local driver and i dont fuel at truck stops, i do not park on the fuel bay period....im just not that lazy

and by the way, yes, this is the same ***hole driver that released my 5th wheel while i was in the truck stop and then took off

curb side parking spots are usually a fire lane in a lot of truck stops...not that it matters much anymore..

sounds too me like he was having a bad night and was tired of *others* parking in the way and singled you...dont let it bother you at least you were smart enough to check your 5th wheel, pulling that was dangerous and could have seriously hurt somebody..

its a shame the industry has come to a point where somebody would pull a 5th wheel like that I guess we let it get this bad by not holding our own accountable..

You're a nicer guy than me, I would have done a lot more than just words if I ran into the person who released my 5th wheel!

Anyhow, I'm the same way about not trying to block people in at stops. I don't refuel at truck stops so I don't use their fuel bays and I rarely stop at one in my big truck unless like you, I have to make a run for the bathroom. This guy sounds like he has issues or has a heart on for you.

If I only need to piss and there is an open fuel slot, I mean the pull forward position, not at the pump, I'll use it in a heartbeat...
