Guess the Love's on the other side of the freeway is cleaning their clock. It is a small Pilot, so that may be a factor. The land is open around it so they may tear it down and build larger.
    Just my guess.

Underground fuel and gas storage tanks are going bad and they don’t want to spend the money to replace , story I heard

As was already mentioned it was a small Pilot so probably not as profitable, but rather than invest by renovating the location and expanding to the available around while almost certainly improving profitability they chose to close? I know there’s 2 more 20 miles up the road but parking is still a premium. Smh

Not sure why they didn't have their typical unexplainable building fire that they have at several locations every year...usually at the older locations that need a total renovation anyway.

The tanks will have to come out of the ground.

They should just burn them all and call it a day.

Heard they were closing the smaller Pilot in Daleville at the 234 as well.

That used to be one of the old Speedways that Pilot acquired around 2005-2006; I think, so an update is really needed to that location if they are keeping it...
