I have seen this poster in City of Industry, CA . they have warehouse there. ####ty place to go.

 

Whoever agrees to this needs be removed from the trucker bloodline

So I see it's not okay for you to be late, but how many guys go there on time and they say "Uhh will call you when were ready for you." Then you wait there for 3 hours.

One of our back hauls used to get on us for being late. Then one of our drivers said "I got there on time and I still had to wait for them."
So there boss called my boss to complain about how late we always are and my boss said yo there boss "You know if I recall one of our trucks got to you on time and he had to wait for you, so it seems your guys can't run on time either."

Since were a private fleet and were the customer paying the shipper we didn't here much from them after that.

 

Some of these type places also have a bunch of people standing around doing nothing. They act like it's a privilege to haul their freight. My boss says screw them, we will work around that stop, I will call your other stops and let them know. Then when the morons need the stuff I bring because we are the ones that make it, and they don't have it, they are in trouble and my boss couldn't care less.

 

PFG and McLane are the 2 worst food service companies to deliver to. It's sad too since they operate large fleets of their own, you'd think they would get drivers in and out quick, but nope. No respect for OTR drivers.

 

That's fine. If they're a minute late backing a truck in and beginning to unload, they owe $100. We'll see who comes out on top after a while lol.

 

From my researching and finding out the entire industry. This is about to happen the opposite. Will be negotiated in the contract before ever accepted. They ain't gonna like it. But there is nothing they can do. Truck shortage is great.
