    Screw that idea, you GF doesn't have the CDL.

    You won't get anywhere with the company, they should be hit hard by the DOT for this crap.

    Find another job, your CDL is on the line with this crap.

    That’s how I handle it. “Sorry, that’s a DOT violation. I can’t and won’t do that.” They usually stop asking me after that happens a few times.

    I had a quick stint with a jet fuel hauler whose safety/dispatch manager told me to "just drive (out of hours) and if anything should happen, we will vouch for you". That was my last day with them. Do not risk your carrier for some dingleberry in an office who couldn't care less for your or the public's safety.
