Got a picture of it? To change the cartridge should be pretty simple...
Some might not like my way but, if its being stubborn I take a long screw driver, hit it through the cartridge with a hammer and then twist it...
Should only take a minute or two to change it....csmith1281 Thanks this. -
If you have a 2016 and no maintenance has been done on the air dryer since it was new, you might need to rebuild the whole dyer, not just change the desiccant element (filter). Or easier go down to Napa or Truck Pro and the like and get a rebuilt one. Should not be hard for you to change it yourself.csmith1281 Thanks this.

Picture and or model # of your dryer might help. If it has a spin on filter it works just like an oil filter.
Might want to bleed air off the tanks first.csmith1281 Thanks this. -
I ended up getting it serviced at Sapp Bros in Peru, IL. I asked the tech if they would be willing to show me how to maintain the system, and they did. I learned a lot. Also watched a YouTube video In which a guy completely replaced is there a dryer. That poor son of a gun‘s dryer was buried way up underneath his cab. Mine is just right under the cat walk.
Thanks everyone for your help.JonJon78 Thanks this.
