I always wondered what I would ask Christ when I stand before him.
My plan was to keep my mouth shut, ask for forgiveness and say thank you Lord a lot.
But now, I think I'm going to go "Lord, if I may; The stable you were born in, filled with barnyard animals, did it smell better or worse than some of our members #####?"
Pets ? Really?

I have pets but they stay at home

We kept a cat once or twice. It was a good truck cat. Too good actually. Layout on the sunny dash while also soaking our ice covered windshield defrost. (HA...) It got it's special hidey spot in the dead center of the bunk or deep in the far corner underneath where it's very defensible. It knows when we are working mountains with the chaos of the Jacobs and the motion. Not a problem or hair out place.
Take the cat home for a while? TOO QUIET. It roamed the entire house for days wanting OUT. We realized that it was permanently damaged somewhat by knowing the entirety of the USA in it's head that it has seen and a house was just not the place for it.
Pet's certainly. Easy peasy. A few little things like a covered little box with a charcoal filter and cleaned daily. Food and water was plentiful. Since it liked to ride it never got fat and lazy. I could go on. Once in a while when we both were asleep the ears on that thing will follow people walking past. It's when the radar ears stopped rotating at one of the doors it's really easy to decide what is necessary then before anything bad if at all.
Companies can stuff their policies. I do not like large corporations incessantly draining the joy of living out of people trying to make a dollar with excessive policies. It's flat BS. They should be so lucky we aint got a proper shepard in there. A big loveboat pooch for us and a pile of teeth for all others.UturnGirl, Swiss Mountain Dog and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
That's a different thing entirely though, it would be the only way I'd let someone have a pet in my truck.

Seemed more like disbelief and confusion to me than anything.

Chihuahuas ain't dogs, if it don't weigh 30 pounds it doesnt classify as a dog in my book. I'd hate to take either of our dogs along in the truck, they're enough of a pain in the ### in the shop, the 150 pound mutt is always rubbing against you like he was a cat and the heeler is sure she's a lap dog.x1Heavy Thanks this.

There is one in Fort Collins at the shop there. About a mile from the Meat Facility or less. The breed is mixed beyond ugly but by day it's a happy pooch, bigger and heavier than anything I ever saw in my life. (And I know of one friend who maintained a wolf inside his home meaning your mind has to be free of anything but sunshine towards that host...)
Follow nighttime? You aint getting to any door, fence or gate before mr mixed breed gets a clamp on you and start chewing until dawn.Swiss Mountain Dog Thanks this. -
