I had to restart at the Pilot in Biggs Jct once, and it SUCKED!! That was a ridiculous place to be parked with all lazy drivers blocking the pumps for their showers and food all day and night.

I agree. First time I was at Bigg's Junction had 4 trucks with oversize loads and got there about 6pm. Pilot of course was full. Got one truck in Grand Central and our pilot car drove East down whatever road that is, a frontage road type, and just across that bridge we got the other 3 trucks parked so that is a potential option as well.

Used to be a decent truckstop there, many years ago, before it was a Pilot. Had a nice bar/restaurant,comfortable furniture, with a big picture window overlooking the river. I used to get a six-pack,nose my truck in facing the river, and get out and sit on a big rock, spend the evening watching the barges, trains, and trucks going up and down, and along the Columbia River. Different era.
