The title if the post
I don't need to call them. The title say "PFJ Dumps Shower Power". This is not true. Furthermore, it seems it would be hard to achieve that status [1000 gallons a month] AND be able to go 7 or 10 days without fueling at PFJ where they would fall off.

That sucks, I like to shower everyday at a Pilot or J and last month barely bought 500 gallons.
-
They figured out it was too easy to shop J for half month, then get the free daily shower for the remainder of that month and all of the next month, and then taking their fuel business to those with less then great showers for a while.
So they added another 500 gallons to the requirement for "shower power"MidWest_MacDaddy and scottied67 Thank this. -
RedRover, tucker, scottied67 and 1 other person Thank this.

From the current Terms And Conditions ... This states 500 gallons and 10 days (for non Shower Power status credits). I suppose it will soon be updated to 1,000 gallons and 7 days as stated in the OP. But overall the change will only affect those who spread their fuel purchases across 2 or more chains.
But note the bolded text below ...

I had full intentions of using a credit today, but instead I spent 30 minutes dealing with PA DOT. Hopefully I'm loaded with enough time to get back to PA exit 256 headed west.

The brand new PJ Fresh's have hot breakfast, eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuit gravy, all the fixin's. Put it in the pizza box and scarf it down while easing out of the lot.
