Finally! I felt bad for pilot all this time losing all that revenue.

 

Yep. I avoid it if at all possible, but when going to places that have crap for parking availability, and I know I can't make it early enough to get a spot, it's a great thing. For instance, Rogers MN. One particular run I HAD to run 3 600 mile (minimum) days to make delivery on time. To run 600 miles the second day meant I had to shut down in Rogers, and it was going to be late, too. Called to reserve a spot and other than that spot I reserved, it was full when I got there, as anticipated.

 

Add the one in North Platte NE to the list.

 

Out behind the TA is a movie theatre with large parking lot. I have spent the night out there before but if people start abusing it by throwing their trash out that (not so secret now) hidey hole will be denied to trucks.

 

Why would anyone pay to park in MN?

 

But it was Rogers, WI. Across the river from MN. That place does fill up fast in the evening.
