Those falcons are going on 40 years old.

And we cannot even keep a semi going 5 years.

no trucking company, no o/o has the money our US gooberment has.

a front tire on those might be about $2 million dollars, (i think that's called competitive bidding) the average o/o cannot scratch 2 plug nickels together.

    Oh I believe it.

I guess I will attempt to clarify why I made the thought I did. When I started trucking we were in old iron that were sometimes older than I was alive on the earth. 40 years probably if you put me into a 50's era rig. That ended in the mid 90's and we are throwing away rigs in a few years and buy another out of plastic. Ignoring for the moment grotesque costs in emissions and everything else on them.

Its further reinforced in my memory first hand when Arkansas flew some of our Falcons from Fort Smith, we own a squadron of them for war purposes overseas I think these were the C models. anyway at the airshow a few years ago a close examination of one in particular revealed that while it was showing it's age at the skin near the root by the wing the plane was serviceable and probably ready for combat with the appropriate upload. However to me it was showing it's age.

Falcons are good planes from the 70's era easy fix any time. And are pretty dangerous opponets until the then new Mig 29 fulcrum was invented. That one is a little hefty, holds more energy and can fly a little bit further than the -16 can. And with all that tries to be able to do what the -16's can do which is pretty difficult when you are slightly obese to put it in nice terms.

Everyone is right that a individual does not possess the resources of the State or the Federal. It will never happen. If that individual did do so... then the federal and state would in simple terms consider that person a dangerous one. *Shrugs.
