I didn't read through all 3 pages of posts, so I dunno if its already been said or not. But, I prefer to give my business to smaller truck stops. Not these large chain truck stops.

I don't think that has been brought up yet but it could be said over and over. I like those Family Express's in Indiana. Their a small chain but very nice people.

An update of the Pilot in Jamestown, NM (exit # escapes me) they took out the Grandma Max's Restaurant and will be putting in a Denny's.. Sucks.. Denny's is ok but I liked Max better.

Hey I was just there yesterday too. Kinda pissed me off because I wanted a truck stop Thanksgiving dinner, and what do I get?

FYI just fuel at the pee-lot and head down the road to the Petro at 79. Eat at the WOW diner.

Exit 39 is the Pilot in Jamestown.

lol... and I was gonna stop at the Petro but ran out of hours. but at least they couldn't put a subway in, since they already have one... but I am glad it will still be a restaurant and not another fast food place.

Well usually, if your at the Pilot in Jamestown, then that means your getting some miles. I'm glad someone is ! Hopefully your not headed towards my next of the woods. I went home Wednesday afternoon and noticed quite a few west coast trucks at my yard. Came back in Friday and some of them WE'RE still there !

    Denny's is a restaurant? :biggrin_2552:

    j/k

"Some" Miles is the key word. I lost some miles because of some office mess-ups "Not open because of the holiday weekend" and the other driver took the paperwork for a t-call and left his lock on the trailer.

'pee-lot' that's perfect... so true. the one two days ago smelled like a frigging septic tank.

after two months of training pay i have to admit i'm loving the $5 subs... half for lunch and half for dinner... but now anything that comes out of my little cooler smells like onions.

and what's with all the good buddies behind the counter there?
