I "often" go out of route personally; sometimes we have our reasons, situational! That's excellent tho, man. Eh on the recap.... no biggie. Happy for ya!

One may only drive legally within the 70 hour 11 hour 14 hour and 8 hour mandatory break constraints.
In other words the only limitations apply to driving time nothing else on the logs.Last edited: Jun 28, 2017

I know they told you not to watch youtube backing videos but this one I did is certified OK to watch by many current truckers who thanked me for it was a great learning tool.

scottied67 Thanks this.

I did make a couple mistakes in the video where I said steer to the right or left and was actually doing the opposite on film.

G13Tomcat and scottied67 Thank this.

Quick update while on break ... I passed my Skills Test this morning. I got blind side offset, straightline and conventional parallel. I killed a cone on the parallel but other than that I nailed it. About to head out on the mean streets of St. Petersburg and Pinellas County again to prepare for the road test which is next Thursday. If Inpass that I will get my certificate to obtain my CDL.
Will be back this afternoon with a full day recap.G13Tomcat, SHOJim and scottied67 Thank this. -
Back for lunch and I made an observation. This guy is walking up to the CDL office because he has a test scheduled .... dude is wearing freaking flip flops .... really?! Needless to say they sent him right back out the door and told him to not come back until he had on the proper foot wear.

Look at these professional drivers, all 6 wearing flippy flops
