Please assist in my student project

    Dear Reader,

    My name is Wieu Kuot, and I am a senior political science and pre-law student at Spring Hill College. I'm writing on behalf of a class research project I'm working on for an innovative app tentatively called MechanicMe, which promises to change the way trucking companies interact with dependable and efficient mechanical service providers.

    As part of this project, I am gathering thoughts from respected trucking industry professionals in order to better understand the pain areas and unique demands that occur while seeking and engaging with automotive repair providers. Helpful feedback from industry experts is critical in assisting me in shaping MechanicMe to properly meet the unique needs of the trucking industry.

    Let me get off the floor, and find my behind, because it has appeared to have fallen off, due to my hysterical laughter.

    It's called "An Internet search" or "Contacts in my phone search".

    Get back to me when you've experienced your brakes locking up on the side of a mountain, when the sun is setting, and you didn't happen to pack that size of air line or fitting. My brain doesn't immediately search for an 'app'.

    I'm afraid this app would have a limited user base, since most large and medium-sized carriers handle breakdowns in-house using contracted service providers on national accounts.

    But I can see where this might be handy for an O/O or an independent.
