It isn't required for a pick up truck getting used pallets from the rear of warehouses.

I was delivering to Walmart one time and the store manager copped an attitude with me. When I was through, he let me out the back door, then slammed it and locked it. Some guy in a pickup truck was stealing pallets so I helped him. Then I took a couple of stacks for myself and sold them.

I myself am joining the trucking industry at 19 years old as my college got way too expensive and can’t afford it my dad has given me one of his trucks and is giving me the help to have a direct route everyday and gross 6k every week as an O/O I get to be home everynight. You should definitely try it ! Anything in life can be achieved if you work hard enough and if you really want it you’ll succeed in the business and have your own fleet in no time! I understand the competition for jobs as my friends who graduated seem to struggle finding a good job with their degrees. I don’t think trucking is a bad career it can be like any other career if you apply yourself you will achieve things. But what do I know I’m only a 19 year
Old who’s barely started in this business
