The term parallel parking is the only thing that is hard. What you are doing is moving the trailer from Door 2 to Door 3 or Door 1. It is simply that you need to move the trailer some small distance to the left or right. Pull up to the top of the box and Point your trailer to the back corner of the blind side or the middle of the sight side. As your trailer edge crosses the half way point straighten up you tractor and boom you are in. No problem.
Do not overthink any of this stuff. Trucking is simple. Avoid driving anything that has SWIFT written on it and you will be fine.

Think of it as an blind side offset, stuff it in the alley maneuver, for it is the same thing when backing. The only difference is that you pull forward in the end to straighten it all out.
