Success with Plus 1 depends a lot on your DM. Mine will tell me the actual windows adn then dispatch me with the windows I can run.
It's a pain, but I've been running consistant 3k a week since it started and I installed the MPC.

Same with my new DM. The nice thing, prior to being a DM, he was a planner. The one that I am pu in the morning, the pplan said tonight by 1800. Before I accepted, he told me the skinny, and just said, show up in the morning. It is pldd. Asked if need to send MAC 22, said no, he already put it into the system. Sent in MAC 34 tonight to see what would happen, showing eta to pu at 0800, and it did not kick it back to me. Since I have gotten away from the POD in PHX, and transferred back to a real terminal, my life has gotten alot easier.

Yes, I do.
Sometimes the hours fit into the customers time windows, sometimes not.
Even so, every time a load is refused it counts against you - even if the system sends it back and you accept it with the new times. -
Another nice pplan came in this morning.
I had set my PTA for 0830.
The load was picking up at 0830 in Katy TX on 03/17, 65 miles away, delivering in Laredo TX 301 miles away on 03/19 at 0900.
The pplan was sent at 0840.

Um, it was already late for pickup.
If I started by pre-trip right then, it would be nearly 1000 when I got there.
So I declined it, putting in a new pickup time, and it was removed. -
But according to the dm in Memphis there is no freight in Texas. Must have been a hallucination.

What are dispatchers thinken when they give you preplans without even communicating with you first. If you can't make it you can't make it.It's the dispatchers fault for not checking your hrs.But with a 75% refusal rate you better ask your dispatcher to start communicating with yuo first before giving you loads.

It is generally OK to pick up late, but has to be delivered ontime. Still I would check with someone to make sure it is OK to pick up late by phone. Most of the time they (DM's) give back a snippy response to 'fix' the times on the mac 9 but other times they may give you the window for pick up and you can 'save' that load rather than risk having it taken off.

This is why that I am so glad that I have a new DM now, that used to be a planner, and something that they are doing, at least in Lewiston, the DM,s can see the planners board, so this way they can help alliviate the work load, and plan you themselves, and who better knows you, your DM and not some planner.

I've talked with "that" DM also ...scottied67 Thanks this.
