Nice shiny new sticker on both truck and trailer I don't mind the blitz... Up here in northern Ontario today I hardly see any of the beaters with strange names on the doors unless I'm going by truck stops near the scales .. It's great not being tail gated I love it

You can be stopped anywhere at anytime and inspected at will......despite already being checked out during this time. It has happened to me and others. Just because you got checked in MO doesn't mean you won't get pulled over in IA and MN in the same day for inspection. During this 72 he period it is nothing more than a cash grab for these states at the expense of truckers. Simply stated.....each state gets money for every truck they inspect....and even more money if they discover a violation. This is basically a 72 hour bounty on trucks. It has nothing to do with safety.

RT7 Ohio is crawling with DOT today. People that think the blitz makes the roads safer needs to go back to the farm and pick cotton for master. Will have more info around noon.

A really nice bump upwards in rates down south this week. And surely other areas too. That's nice. There might even be some leftover effects of this next Monday. For me I'm betting on pre-booking a Monday reload on Friday to be a good move though.
