Folks, keep in mind that the lateral move from mega to mega is a losing hand.
Take time to think this through.
The sky isn't falling just yet.

I'll say this again. It's not that Gordon was acquired by another company. It's the company that did it.

Off in the distance... from coast to coast.
2,000 Gordon drivers... tonight, disbelief.
Sighs, frustration.

tow614 Thanks this. -
In reading some of the posts from heartland drivers about their practices..
Not paying tolls...single bunk trucks...opti idle in new trucks...difficult to get home... a lot of overnight/expedited freight..
I am feeling very discouraged...
I am starting to feel very ashamed for ever recommending gordon and i will no longer be able to do so..
All i can say now is .. enter at your own risk... -
Yeah that's what worries me too

Check this out: your new CEO, Mike Gerdin (Heartland).

Words.....
They cant hide from their past...
No matter how much lipstick they put on this pig.. its still a pig...
I ..for one.. have no intention of driving the heartland way..
I know i am only one person but i am responsible for the welfare of my family -

I drove past the Pacific yard today. More trucks there parked that I am used to seeing. Also saw 4 gordon trailers being pulled by third party companies, something that I have never seen before. (Not classy rigs either, beat up old trucks like you see in SoCal or running cans from the ports.)
Just my 2 bits, but maybe more drivers are leaving than anticipated?
