$772 Surprise!!
Only been with this outfit what? Since March??
--Just had two week shutdown
--Expected deposit for one week into my checking yesterday
--Instead was $1145.16. What gives with the extra $$??
--Voucher in mail today with this detail:
----June 28, 2014 to July 11, 2014
----HRT $658.32
----Holiday $72
----VAC14 $700
----Gross $1430.32
----Net Pay $1145.16
Imagine that! $772 in holiday and vacation pay after only 5 months...
It's all good. I'll take it. -

Hey Vic.
Enjoying my food coma. Lounging on the sofa after broiled steak accompanied with fresh fruit salad.
Wife and step daughter outlaw just left for the eve. After a good day at home: time for some quiet time.Last edited: Jul 26, 2014

Silt Fencing and Fighting Chickens
--Finally got enough digging done down the hill to put silt fencing up,
--Now that the rain has stopped.
--The scraggliest of my 2 Comets is the most aggressive towards my 2 Reds;
--Mostly chasing, not too much actual fighting.
--Finally the Reds used the roost on their own last night.
--A new twist, one Red now picking on other.
--Blames her for the Comets picking on them, eh?
--Tomorrow, Prairie du Chien again...Last edited: Jul 27, 2014

EZ-Pass and PrePass
On my seat this morning, one for tolls and other for scales.
--The Illinois unit GM (General Manager) on Friday said I didn't need it;
--Was enough for Yard Boss to say, 'You're getting it.'
--Got both, in fact.
--Ran I-74 straight out, then up Hwy 61 to Dubuque.
--Only the one scale open, no green light on the PrePass;
--Green light across the scale, though.
It's all good. I'll take it. Loading now in Prairie du Chien. -
the pre-pass can take a couple of days to fully activate.
The scale houses kinda verify the transponder is on the truck with the correct plate and then the system starts green lighting.
There are the occasional pull in if you miss the scales in the road, are close to weight limits, or it is just your turn for an inspection. -
Good evening to Terrible_Driver! With a sense of humor... I'm sure.
