Change your license to South Dakota, couple hundred dollars for the mail forwarding and spend one night there. No more California, problem solved.

Yes it’s that easy, I did it.

You're looking at about 1200/week+fuel if you do Primes walk away lease on the flatbed side.
Do not lease at Prime unless you plan on staying out for 5+ weeks and then dont stay home more than 4 days so you dont go in the hole. You can make much more money on the lease side if you run hard and stay out.

Looks like that swift stuff screwed it up for everybody. I'd recommend doing it like I did and going company for atleast 6 months. You want to learn on their dime in case something happens right out the gate was my thought process.

It’s not Swift. It’s their new requirements that basically do away with independent contractors in many industries.

Sometimes I wonder how long it will be until all the citizens in CA are required to wear electronic collars, so they can be tracked - just to be sure they do not interact with the illegal aliens that the Democrats prefer to citizens.

Not exactly new … started about 20 years ago in the tech sector when, if I remember correctly it was the Google contractors that sued to become permanent employees. They won and the lawyers found a whole new gold mine and started going after any and all types of contractors.

Every time the lawyers make a fortune and ultimately the contractors get screwed.

I wonder if all the strippers are employees in CA now too. That would be a nightmare for customers and the establishment.
