It's not lease referral it's driver referral you get the referral bonus for recruiting new drivers lease or company the op is already a driver at prime so his trainer would not get a referral credit

The PRIME website.
-
That's not fair or ethical! If you didn't hear it from an ex-Navy Seal at the truck stop coffee counter, then the information is suspect.123456, TruckDuo and blairandgretchen Thank this.
-
We're tired of your communist propaganda here , @Chinatown !!
That came translated straight from the CB.
Hail to the New Prime! The old Prime is dead! Hail to the New Prime (inc.) . . . -
Then someone doesn't understand the op question or didn't comprehend what they read on the websiteTruckDuo Thanks this.
-
I think we all understood the question and the website pretty well, and the OP already has a good instinct on what's going on.
As @TruckDuo posted - the details are on the website - and it's plain to see there is a value to PRIME, not the L/O (though it appears that way to them), in attracting more meat to the grinder.
And it's perfectly legal (once they ironed out the kinks), and good luck to anybody who rolls the dice.
Any longer on this thread and I'll be dragged down to a level and beaten with experience. -
I'd go with Wil-Trans or Earl Henderson; this way you still pull Prime trailers except drive a full size truck as a company driver. Can still do the lease thing with them if desired.
And that's my Communist propaganda concerning that! -
Op asked does my trainer get a bonus for getting me to go lease .... the answer to that question is no he doesn't plain and simple ..
Prime does not push their lease they are perfectly happy with company drivers who will drive around in those little sardine cans ..
Is his trainer trying to talk him into lease? Maybe !!! But it's not because he benifits from it like I said before he will get his trainers bonus if the op goes company or lease and its the same amount!!!!!
The prime website talks about referral bonus that is for referring new drivers prime again you get the referral bonus either way they go company or lease!!!
No drivers at prime make extra money for talking drivers into going lease end of story
Oh and your experience from outside the window means nothing I know the truth and soon enough the op will learn the truth when he gets his own truck on the company side ( wich is the best way for new drivers) and learns the ins and outs of prime incChinatown Thanks this. -
Good for you.
-
Little known fact,
some drivers refer to accessorial pay.
At some companies,
this has to do with referrals, doing favors, etc...........TruckDuo Thanks this.
