I hate that policy - several times I’ve seen folks on the shoulder that needed a hand with a tire, can’t stop for fear of the rats.

For some reason, the optics with mirrors on trucks are a little distorted and the right one is usually off a little. I have tried with a lot of trucks to get them straight but never ever seen one that is optically straight.

What I see in the mirror is a typical "professional driver" that wont slow down for probably 3-5 seconds so he can "MOVE OVER"

Depending on location, I’ve done it a little shorter, I’ve went through more triangles this year alone, but I feel they did do their job when the idiots ran over the line and you could hear the *crunch* and the subsequent swerving of said idiots back into lane. 10’-100’-100’?

It's because you are sitting close to one mirror and a truck-width away from the other mirror.

Just wait a few more years, and you won't be dealing with this issue anymore. It'll be other related issues ...
