Must be something about that pee that sends folks over the edge.

 

I try to go to the Latham St one due to how bad the 99 one is. I reserve a spot by 9am or they are sold out and getting a spot after 1pm is iffy.
I walked by a crazy guy to go across the street and on the way back to my truck they had it roped of because the guy OD and died. Second of the day. Latter there were a couple of hookers that came by. Phoenix is crazy and this is the good truck stop.

This area in my opinion is the very reason sleeper truck should be considered your domicile and we should have the right to protection. Just like in your house.

 

That won't stop anybody who's dead set on taking your life.

 

"Everywhere you go" is kind of situational awareness thing. Or at least it has a lot to do with it. I don't carry anything either but could if I wanted to.

Is deadly force called for in rare situations? Sure, but I've been lucky enough so far to where I've never had a situation where I felt like I needed it. I don't spend a lot of time in the woods or jungle or in the hood past dark.

 

It would be cool in theory to have directed energy firearms like one of those Star Trek hand phasers that can stun or kill based on the setting.

 

Has anyone looked at the Byrna site?

Scroll down to the bottom there are 2 guns one with a green laser one with red. Both under $200.

The flashlight one is nice too. That's $89.
