We do load out of the CSX railroad yard in SOPO, but there's no actual office there for Quantix/MSP. The primary office for the SoPo yard is in Auburn MA, and it might be a good idea to give them a call directly. If desired, I can give you the name of our Operations Manager down there. We were supposed to have a quarterly safety meeting this Sunday, but that was just changed due to the expected hurricane.

I heard tonight that owner operators are being told they will have to sign a new contract next week. Quantix is doing away with percentage and going to mileage party starting 12/01/23.

 

Any word on the rates and accessorials?

 

I was told $1.80 mile loaded + FSC & $.80 empty.

 

You think pay will be similar as to the old system?

Anyone have information about the Jackson, TN terminal? Looking for a company OTR position. I have Pneumatic experience hauling sand in the oil field, how well will that translate to hauling pellets?
