    Weird.

Must have very dedicated customers to only use 50% of interstates & no US roads...How is the pilot in Butte, MT an authorized fuel spot when none of the "approved routes" even go into or thru MT?

Must not trust drivers to choose best route depending on conditions; what if there is a fatailty accident in Nashville...can't use 840 to detour around?

Locked 5th wheel...what is their policy on overweight loads & do they reimburse CAT scales?

Do they have locked trailer tandems too?

HUB, practical, or HHG mileage pay?
Breakdown, detention, layover, PU/stop, weather shutdown, BS pay?

How much of the pay is per diem?

Can't use state roads to route around interstate closures? Laramie to Rawlins comes to mind...US30 from the A&W in ID to Little America, WY...state roads that run along I40 in AR during construction season, etc.

WHY do they not run I80, us93, us95 in Nevada?? What ever happens in NV?
Chain requirement? Chain pay? Chains provided?

If I am in Memphis & have to deliver in Cincinnati, I can't run up I65? Am I paid for the extra miles de 'touring' all the way down 24 to Chattanooga then up 75?

Can only fuel 40 gal reefer at a time & only use certain pilots for truck fuel??

Why do they to not include the POS radio that freightliner throws in the cascadia??

Should not have to spend money to get a basic accessory, if I want to upgrade, I will pull the factory unit out & put my own in but I should not HAVE to. (Maybe they get discounted insurance rates by showing they don't include distracting devices in their trucks & using roads statistically shown to have fewer accidents/breakdowns??)

They actually allow you to take a newer truck, they are most likely making payments on or at least leasing, home if you live in an approved hiring state for as long as you want??

Only positive thing is that it appears they don't run the NE & I95.

Never saw a company more deserving of the name "Interstate Transportation/Distribution/Carriers"

I suddenly feel more free & satisfied as a Prime driver WOW, my FM never questions me on my route choices, approved or not.

I pray that this is only drop & hook...right?
No multi pickup produce loads, no multistop driver unload fingerprint flower loads, meat processors, grocery warehouses, or OTR Wal-Mart DC live unload deliveries...right??
That has to be the saving grace. It HAS to be.

As Seinfeld once said: "Ladies & gentlemen, I implore you."

    Just weird.

One thing I forgot to post was that their trucks don't have an air horn. Lol

We worked there for 6 months and were given good miles and made good money. We left for a job where we can reset at home each week.

A few things we weren't crazy about...

The produce loads heading back east most times have several pickups, sometimes 6 or 7...to get a full load. It can take a couple days of running around to get your load done before heading back east.

The trucks are rigged to where you can go 64-65 mph on cruise control, but if your using the fuel pedal the truck will only do 60 mph. We found this very frustrating.

if the truck is stopped for more than an hour during route, your required to send a message to your driver manager explaining why... and when you will be rolling again.

And they require each team to do logging "their" way.... Each driver must stay on the clock for 12 hours each and must switch out at the same exact time each day. If you don't do it their way..even tho your way is perfectly legal and working good with your teammate...you will get a phone call or called to the office.

Teams that don't mind the time consuming produce loads, can make good money. Quest will keep you rolling. And they are purchasing new trailers to offset their trailer shortage problems.

For any teams going to Quest... Here's a helpful tidbit..

The newer trailers ( with the nice military pictures) have a very short sliding range allowed for tandem movement, which makes it very difficult to get the produce loads legally balanced. So for produce loads, grab one of their older trailers, if you can, it willl save you a lot of time and headache.

And take an extra pair of shoes with you because when you get to their Cartersville yard, after a rain, your gonna ruin your shoes and get mud all in your truck. Be prepared.

The area of the yard where trailers are parked is dirt, and has big mud holes you'll have to deal with when hooking and unhooking your trailer.

Air horn and radio is ########. Health insurance sucked. They have a shop but they aren't trained to do anything other than change lights. Make you go get everything done at a TA or dealer. Teams must stick to a schedule and they'll get on you if you don't stick to it.

Years ago the company kept the drivers Pilot points. [IMG]
